The Podcasting plan – the view from December

Hello everyone

As you will have seen, the silence of October and November has been broken! Hurray! I thought it might be handy to explain what you can expect from here.

I can’t promise to be ‘back to normal’ – though we might be! Without going into detail, there are many months of treatment ahead, and it’ll depend how that goes as to how much time I have to write and how much time at home to record. That is in the lap of the Gods.

Below is the schedule with a bit of a legend, so you know what you expect; the dark green is in the bag and will come out. The light green depends on me getting back to the mic so dates may change. After that…well there’s plenty of time to be writing before 16th Feb!

Hope that’s all OK. Hope you enjoy the new episodes anyway, and we’ll just see what happens. And as I said in teh podcast,m thank you again for all your support and encouragement – I cannot tell you how much it’s meant to me.

  1. Glad to see you are feeling a bit better. Don’t push too hard – give yourself time to recover & heal.

Best wishes to you and your family & here’s hoping for a bright & wonderful 2020.

  2. I am grateful for your return, but take whatever time you need. I realize you don’t have the nightmare of American healthcare, but I will continue to be a member and patiently (see what I did there?) wait for any new content until you are really ready and comfortable. You and your family come first.

  3. Tremendous news! Good to see you back where you belong.
As all the rest have said; get your treatments and rest as much as you need, whatever content you manage to put out is really all bonus at this point.

Here’s hoping 2020 will bring the greatest comeback since… well, you know…

  4. I’m glad that you’re back —and—take it easy. We’ll get our history fix as you see fit and I for one enjoy reviewing past podcasts. Many many best wishes for a happy and healthy 2020 to you and your family.

  5. Delighted to discover new podcasts this morning. Thank you. Your podcasts were one of the things which saw me through a time of bad health. Recovery cannot be rushed. Don’t push yourself. Like everyone else I will be pleased to receive podcasts as and when you feel ready to send them. Best wishes to you and your family

  6. I’m so glad to get an update from you! Please do take it easy and focus on your health. I’ve enjoyed your podcasts so much and am looking forward to many more in the future. Best wishes.

  7. Great surprise this morning when I saw a new podcast, welcome back…

I’m very glad that you are getting better but I’ll echo what others have said, we will wait and be here for you no need to overdo it.

Take care of yourself, family first especially at this time of year!

  8. It is brilliant to have you back – so be healthy and take all the time you need and perhaps some more. It was wonderful to hear your voice again. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Maybe a podcast on what the heck “Boxing Day” is all about?
